User access
Happy Trailing teams share data by choice. User access is how two people link their accounts: one shows a QR code, the other scans it — and they can select each other on trails and appointments.
How it works
- Every user has a personal QR code on the User access page — treat it like a secret.
- Your training partner shows their QR code; you scan it with your camera and the link is created immediately.
- From then on you can select that person — as handler, runner or appointment member. They scan your QR code for the reverse direction.
- A link only unlocks visibility. It never gives access to your trails or videos.
Manage links
- The User access page shows the links you created and the links others made with you.
- You can revoke the links you created at any time — instant, and without affecting past trainings.
Privacy
Your username is shared with linked users; it is also shared with the handler when you are the runner on their trail. Email addresses are never shared. Nothing is shared until you show your QR code.
