The service

Happy Trailing lets you plan mantrailing trails on a map, record GPS routes of runners and handlers, evaluate training sessions, schedule appointments, and attach videos to a trail. There are four subscriptions — Free, Basic, Premium and Trainer — with capabilities as described in the manual; we may adjust subscription contents with notice.

Your account

• You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• If you are under 16, a parent or guardian must consent to your registration.
• Registration may be limited (currently by invitation); we may refuse or suspend accounts that breach these terms.

Fair use

Happy Trailing records location data and footage of real people — you and your training partners. By using the service you agree to the following.

• Only record routes or videos of people who participate in the training and have consented.
• Do not upload content that is unlawful, offensive or criminal, or that infringes others' rights.
• Do not attempt to bypass roles, visibility modes, quotas or other technical limits.
• Do not use the service to track people outside of agreed training sessions.

Quotas and limits

Video uploads are limited per account (2 GB per file; 5 GB storage quota by default). We may enforce additional reasonable limits to keep the service reliable.

Your data

You can export trail routes as GPX files at any time. Make your own backups of anything you consider important — we take good care of the platform, but we cannot warrant that no data is ever lost.

Availability

The service is provided on a best-effort basis without an uptime guarantee. We may interrupt the service for maintenance and will try to announce planned interruptions in advance.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of data or damages resulting from training activities. Happy Trailing is an aid for guiding training sessions — safety during the training remains the responsibility of the participants. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid us for the current subscription period.

Ending your account

• You can stop using the service at any time; you can delete your account in the app itself and deletion can also be requested via info@happytrailing.com.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
• What happens to your data on deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms with notice by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law; disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands.
